2024 Read List
I know this post is a bit overdue! I set a super ambitious reading goal for myself last year. Because I managed to read a whopping 75 books in 2023, I decided that in 2024, I would read 100 books. After all, how hard could it be to add an extra 25 to the list?
Turns out, it’s pretty darn difficult! I fell a bit short of my goal (89), but I still managed to read a boatload of books. I realized I was losing steam at one point, because by then, I was reading simply to get to a number, and not so much for my own enjoyment. I began to slow my pace then and read what I wanted.
I also became comfortable with not finishing books that I was not enjoying, rather than forcing myself to power through, like I had in the past. I did not count those books towards my final book goal - even though they took up valuable reading time and mental bandwidth.
So here’s the list of every book I read and completed in 2024 in chronological order.
